Who we are
Applift is operated by Followers B.V., registered in Utrecht, the Netherlands (KvK 85856290). We are the data controller for any personal data you give us through this site. Reach us at hello@applift.to.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we collect your email address and, optionally, the App Store or Play Store URL you submit. We also store a salted, irreversible hash of your IP address for rate-limiting and your browser's User-Agent string.
When you search for your iOS app in the form, your browser queries Apple's public iTunes Search API directly. Applift does not see or store the search query — Apple does, per Apple's privacy policy.
Why we collect it
To email you when access opens, and to keep the form free of spam. The optional app URL helps us prioritize onboarding. Lawful basis: your consent (you submitted the form) and our legitimate interest in operating the waitlist.
Cookies and analytics
None. This site sets no cookies, embeds no analytics scripts, and loads no third-party trackers. The only outbound request the page makes is the form POST to our own waitlist endpoint.
Who processes the data on our behalf
Two sub-processors:
- Cloudflare (Pages, D1, edge network) — hosts the site and stores the waitlist row. Data is held in Cloudflare's Western Europe region.
- Resend (transactional email) — receives your email address solely to deliver the waitlist confirmation. US-based; transfers occur under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until two years after launch — whichever comes first. Email us anytime to be removed.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, its correction, or its deletion by emailing hello@applift.to. If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR — we respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
